Your Key Responsibilities
Build and manage the North America Thermal Management Industrial Engineering Team
Lead the IE activities for acquisitions and development projects in N.A. as part of the global IE network
Lead process development, costing, investment and industrialization activities for NA product development
Grow the regional competences to form a self-sustainable IE organization
Initiate and manage new process developments in the region to increase competitiveness
Manage internal and external functions such as plant segments, special machinery equipment and process engineering providers
Steer budgeting process for TMM related plants within the global TMM organization
Manage productivity improvement and technical savings activities within the region
Manage prototype manufacturing and procurement within the network
Your Qualifications
University degree in engineering, preferably manufacturing engineering
Minimum 6 years experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proven background in plastics manufacturing processes, e.g. injection molding, welding and assembly
3 years experience in a manufacturing or engineering related leadership role
Proven to be able to achieve results in a global matrix organization including EU and AP
Open to medium travel overseas and regular travel to Mexico
Spanish language skills would be preferred
