    Job DescriptionAs a Crisis Technician of the stabilization and support team, you will work alongside a clinician to respond to crises within Prince George's County Public Schools. You will assist the clinician in administrating clinical assessments and stabilizing children, adolescents, and families in crises, playing a critical role in our mission to save lives in the community.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide community-based crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, and families with behavioral and emotional concerns.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and iMind policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with the team to provide timely crisis intervention and stabilization services in the community.
    • Thoroughly complete all iMind, State and County documentation in a timely manner.
    • Facilitate appropriate referrals to internal and external resources as clinically indicated.
    • Attend all staff meetings and participate in supervision to address assessments, crises, problematic cases, general case reporting, and resource information.
    • Represent iMind in a professional manner, educate the community about services, foster collaborative relationships, and facilitate referrals.
    • Serve on iMind and/or community committees as requested by the Supervisor.
    • Take responsibility for professional growth by attending all mandatory iMind trainings and staying up-to-date with industry expectations.
    • Provide transportation for MRSS clients to appointments as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

    Full-Time Status and Description:

    • 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8am - 8pm

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be in the last year of a Master's degree Program in the areas of counseling, social work, marriage and family or related
    • Must possess the Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
    • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
    • Must be willing to complete Criminal Background Check
