Facilities Maintenance Technician - Pharr, TX

Job summary
We are seeking a reliable skilled and proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our new air-conditioned SMT manufacturing facility running smoothly and safely.This is a true building-systems role you will be responsible for the facility itself electrical plumbing general repairs etc not the production/SMT equipment Any ability to occasionally assist with production equipment would be a bonus but is not required or expected.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed daily inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems lighting doors/hardware plumbing fixtures etc
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems safely beyond basic residential level
- Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance unclog drains replace fixtures repair leaks water heaters flush valves minor pipe runs etc
- General carpentry and building repairs patch drywall paint repair doors/locks ceiling tiles minor framing li Assemble and install shelving whiteboards TV mounts signage office furniture etc li Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff li Coordinate with licensed contractors when work is outside scope or requires permits li Maintain accurate logs of work performed parts used safety checks li Keep mechanical rooms storage areas tools organized clean li Assist with vendor escorts seasonal preparations light grounds tasks as needed
