    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the functional areas, such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management, reward & recognition, training, compliance, and compensation, as well as enforcing company policies and procedures.


    Role Responsibilities:

    • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to: analytics, benefits, compensation, compliance, employee relations, leave administration, onboarding, payroll, performance management, reward & recognition, staffing, and training.
    a.

    Analytics - Responsible for providing performance reporting and analysis such as but not limited to monitoring and interpreting performance trends, evaluating metrics and other information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decompose detailed information into assessment of performance, distinguish true trends, provide forecast support based on historical performance and similar analytical services; Design, develop and manage new reports and dashboards designed to provide management a view into company performance and ensures the timely development and distribution of established periodic reports.

    b.

    Compliance - Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance; Ensures employee files are maintained and meet audit standards.

    c.

    Employee Relations - Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and refers complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff; Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations; Manages the Telework and Reasonable Accommodation Request databases.

    d.

    Employee Engagement & Administrative - Organizes employee engagement activities (i.e., Team Tuesday, picnic, holiday party, retreat, etc.); Processes invoices and expense reports, enters data, etc.

    e. Learning & Development - Manages the learning management system platform (e.g. Brainier); Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments; Coordinate training sessions.

    f. Onboarding - Coordinates new hire process for managing staff, including orientation, training, and new hire documents.

    g. Reward & Recognition - Partner with the Payroll Manager to administer the STAR Award program.


    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
    • Evaluates current processes, identify and suggest improvement in all HR areas
    • Brings forward ideas and work on projects to improve HR service and delivery

    Minimum Qualifications include:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred and or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience preferred; SHRM certification preferred
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of administrative task and responsibilities
    • Problem solving skills and resourceful thinking
    • Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Strong empathy, compassion, and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS systems
