    IT Business Analyst

    Location: Arlington, VA

    Type: FTE, onsite in the office 5 days a week, 8am-5pm

    As the IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the digital transformation of our organization by overseeing our portfolio of business applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that all enterprise applications meet the needs of our stakeholders and partnering with our application vendors to ensure the successful implementation, integration, and operation of these critical software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and vendors, to ensure Trident has the applications needed to conduct business. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and agility of the organization's applications and systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise Application Architecture strategy for the enterprise-level applications and solutions
    • Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions and vendors that align with business objectives and technical requirements
    • Ensure the successful implementation, integration, and operation of enterprise applications, integrating with existing systems, and enhancing business processes
    • Work closely with vendors to maintain and upgrade enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
    • Develop and implement standards, procedures, and strategies for the deployment, management, and maintenance of enterprise applications
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of applications and alignment of business processes and seamless integration of new applications with existing systems
    • Analyze existing application systems, identify areas of improvement, and propose updates and enhancements to optimize performance, security, scalability, and usability
    • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other members of the IT team on topics related to application architecture and development
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and offer recommendations for adoption as appropriate
    • Ensure that application architectures and solutions are aligned with the organization's overall data security and compliance requirements
    • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and processes related to the application architecture, development, and maintenance processes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, and HRM systems
    • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices
    • Understanding of end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and holistically about application management
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex application-related efforts
