    Travel Nursing Job Details

    • Location: Des Moines, IA 50314 – Experience the best of Iowa healthcare jobs in the state's capital, known for its culture, dining, and parks.
    • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 11, 2026 – April 11, 2026)
    • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    • Hours per Week: 36
    • Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
    • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630 - $1750

    Registered Nurse Qualifications

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Medical/Surgical and Telemetry specialty preferred
    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry RN role
    • BLS certification (required for all nursing jobs)
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, resource pool healthcare environment
    • Completion of all onboarding requirements: health screenings, background check, competency testing, and required vaccinations

    Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
    • Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document nursing care accurately
    • Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance
    • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
