Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Engineering Technician (Level 2 or 3) to join our team at the Starfire Optical Range on Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque New Mexico The selected candidate will be supporting the Air Force Research Lab in their advancement of Space Domain Awareness capabilities using ground-based telescopes
Job summary
This position requires assisting engineers and senior technicians with efforts such as optical alignment serving as a crew member for tests participates in test design performs routine procurement fabrication assembly of components test fixtures and test systems maintains labs to Air Force standards troubleshoots basic laboratory problems recommends resolution.
