Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1-3 years of IR experience, including VIR and neuro, for a 14-week contract assignment.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
Procedures include interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided interventions
Uses Siemens single-plane and bi-plane equipment, McKesson PACS, and Epic EMR
4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off each week (typically following a call shift)

Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call approximately every 6 weeks
Requirements

1-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required, with demonstrated skill in VIR and neuro procedures
ARRT(R) certification required
RTR or RTRVI certification required
Current BLS required
Kentucky Radiation Operator's License required prior to start date (license required if applicable)
Proficiency in scrubbing as first assist to physician, circulating, filming, and charging exams
Experience with Siemens single-plane and bi-plane equipment preferred
Epic and McKesson PACS experience preferred
2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided procedures
Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved

American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
