    Warner Bros and Netherrealm Studios seek a Systems Designer to join our mobile team in creating immersive gaming experiences. Join a historic game studio working on legendary gaming IP's Mortal Kombat and Injustice.

    The Systems Designer focuses on game economy, character progression systems, equipment, and combat systems. Responsibilities also include creation of data structures and maintaining tools used for game data.

    Seeking candidates that excel in planning, communication, and working with large sets of data.

    The Daily

    • Create and update feature documentation as necessary.
    • Translate values from documentation into data in Unreal Engine or other backend tools.
    • Collaborate with other designers to establish and maintain best practices for documentation and data implementation.
    • Working with Python, Lua or other scripting languages

    The Essentials

    • Experience in game development in the Design role.
    • Knowledge of game systems such as progression systems, gear systems, combat systems.
    • Attention to detail when working with large tables of values.
    • Accuracy in submitted work.

    The Nice to Haves

    • Experience working Python, Lua, or other scripting languages.
    • Experience with Unreal.
    • Experience in Mobile Gaming.
    • Experience with the RPG genre.
