    NOV Pressure Control Group is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer to join our team at 12950 West Little York.


    The main responsibilities of this role include:

    JOB SUMMARYPlan, organize and formulate efficient operational programs for numerical control machines through the application of established or pre-determined manufacturing engineering methods to provide optimum utilization of machine capabilities and tooling arrangements.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Formulate efficient operational programs that maximize machine utilization and product quality to assure customer expectations are met. Complete and maintain the program documentation and file system. Be responsive to the short-term needs of the shop to keep the NC machines running at 100% efficiency. Contribute to the cost reduction program by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs. Maintain awareness of new ideas in processes, tools, methods, etc. and apply them effectively to NC manufacturing. Develop and maintain open communication with all personnel in include accepting suggestions and instruction. Responsible for coordinating with the Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for part programs created or modified. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

    FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize "Esprit CAD CAM" software. Must be competent in 3D Modeling systems and model creation.


    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in programming or 5 years minimum running and programming machines.

    Must be competent in 3D Modeling systems and model creation. Experience in programming very large offshore BOP's and other equipment preferred. Experience in Programming large G&L, Vertical machining Centers, HBM's utilizing Fanuc Controls primarily is preferred. Prefer experience with using Vericut and Creating Probing Routines. Experience with SolidWorks and Creating Models is a Must.
