Dates Needed: 24-hour call shifts available on select weekends from January to March 2025

Practice Setting:
Inpatient only, no outpatient responsibilitiesFacilities & Support:On-call support from hospitalist, anesthesiology, and radiology teams available 24/7Emergency C-sections and GYN proceduresNearby high-risk NICU transfer centersHousing: Hospital apartments provided adjacent to facility

Position Details:

Role Requirements:
Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyActive NC medical license, NC DEA, NC Medicaid credentialingCurrent NC Medicare/PECOS enrollmentFull COVID-19 vaccinationRecent, hospital-verified case logs for past 24 months

Key Skills Required:
Low and high-risk pregnancy managementFetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and routine deliveriesC-sections, complicated deliveries, and repair of lacerationsGynecological procedures, including IUD insertion, LEEP, minor surgeries, and cystectomyMust be capable of managing emergent obstetric and GYN cases

Patient Care Details:
Average of 27 monthly deliveries, with approximately 11 C-sectionsCensus of 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour shiftHigh-risk cases transferred to nearby facilities

Additional Information:
Call Requirements: 20-minute call response time required

Travel Support:

Travel capped at $500, with preference for candidates within driving distanceCredentialing: Estimated 10-day credentialing timeframeJoin a dedicated team providing essential OBGYN services to the local community.
