Career Transitions is supporting a commercial interior design and furniture company located in South Bend to help them identify a Project Manager. This salaried role is responsible for providing field support and administrative services to internal departments, as well as coordinating with field contractors and trades personnel.

Project Manager Responsibilities include:

• Monitor item tracking with help of sales administrators to resolve any issues that arise regarding the installation schedule
• Communicate and coordinate installation and delivery plan with customer and other trades
• Ensure project is accurately set up and includes all relevant documentation, both digitally and printed
• Serve as on-site coordinator and first point of contact throughout installation for external and internal teams
• Provide updates regarding project lifecycle, and provide updates to necessary parties (Customer, Sales, Design, Advantage)
• Troubleshoot issues with vendors, service, or design
• Coordinate new requests and change orders until the project is complete
• Confirm all paperwork is returned and invoiced as quickly as possible once work is

Project Manager Qualifications include:

• Strong administrative background, experience working in a construction related environment a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• MS Office skills, including Excel
