The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is charged with implementing the state's public school laws for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public schools at the direction of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Board of Education.
This position serves as an IT Director with responsibility for providing comprehensive information technology direction and support for Office of Systems Modernization initiatives. This includes School Business System Modernization, and other assigned portfolios. This role leads the identification, planning, and execution of modernization initiatives; evaluates the impact of projects on DPI operations; and ensures successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
The position is Field/Home Based.
