Job Title: Network Engineer - SME

Location: College Park, MD

Summary

We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interest of our nation. We are seeking qualified candidates in support of an end-to-end data center managed service for the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that includes computing, storage, and networking tasks. SecuriGence is seeking a Network Engineer SME to help contribute to our success. Help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise support for client infrastructure at an Expert level. Must be well versed with various Data Center technologies and provide enterprise architecture engineering skills and support.

Network SME activities include:

• Be well versed with current Enterprise networking technologies.
• Prioritize tasks and identify bottlenecks in the environment.
• Evaluate tools and oversee deployment in working environment.
• Identify improvements and lead projects to optimize client infrastructure.
• Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM's.
• Must be expert at various models of Cisco switches and routers, Expert knowledge of Citrix Netscaler LB, Juniper routers and Dell switches.
• Will serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current state and designing and building the next generation infrastructure.
• Must excel at troubleshooting extremely complex problems to resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual
• Should have expert level knowledge on Enterprise Data Center technologies.
• CCIE required

This contract requires all candidates to be a U.S. Citizen.

No Remote Work allowed. No remote work requests entertained. Overtime is not required. Travel is not required. Weekend and on call work will be required.
