    Shangri-La Tokyo is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Rooms Division.

    Job Summary / Purpose

    Under the direction of the Assistant Executive ousekeeper and Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists in planning, organizing, directing and controlling all aspects in guest room cleaning, inventory and linen supply activities, maintaining the established standards of cleanness, orderliness and attractive condition of guest floors.

    Responsibilities

  • Customer Loyalty: Ensure all interactions with guests are handles professionally and with care adhering to hotels policies and procedures.
  • People Management: Review and revises manning needs monthly. Monitor the implementation and progress of various training programmes on their effectiveness.
  • Work Environments: Creates a positive and highly motivated working environment that promotes and develops teamwork.
  • Operational Processes: Ensures regular maintenance and general cleaning are carried out in the guestrooms and corridors.
  • Supervise daily room assignment.

    Inspect all VIP rooms, guest floors, floor pantries and other areas daily.

    Carries out checks on inventories with regards to linen and guestroom supplies

  • Administration: Assist Assistant Executive Housekeeper to analysis monthly reports and recommends opportunities for improvement.

    客室清掃に伴う清掃、備品、リネン管理発注管理の一連の業務で品質を保持管理する責任を負う。

    Responsibilities

  • Customer Loyalty: ゲストに関わる案件をホテルのポリシーや手順に基づきプロフェッショナルとして対応する。
  • People Management: 人の配置やシフトを月間を通じて気を配り、効果的なトレーニングを行う
  • Work Environments: 前向きで意欲的な職場環境とチームワークを推し進める。
  • Operational Processes: 客室やパブリックエリアの定期清掃やメンテナンスを行う。客室清掃のアサインを監督する。 VIP部屋、館内のパブリックエリアのインスペクション
  • リネン、アメニティの在庫管理

  • Administration: 月間リポートを用意し、また改善箇所を助言する
  • Essential Requirements:

  • Japanese native speaker or N1 level of proficiency with a reasonable standard of oral and written English. The third language such as Chinese is advantage.
  • Knowledge of computers.
  • Minimum 2 years Housekeeping Supervisor experience in an International Hotels.
  • Displays initiative and able to lead and motivate the team.
  • Commitment to professional values and integrity
  • Essential Requirements:

  • 日本語が母語又はN1レベルで、業務に支障のない範囲の英語の読み書きができる。中国語等のその他外国語力はプラス
  • OPERAを含めるコンピューター操作経験
  • 最低2年のInternational Hotelでのスーパーバイザー経験
  • 自発的に行動し、またチームの意欲を率先できる
  • プロとして言動・行動が職務に対して誠実であること
  • BENEFITS

    Bonus Discretionary bonus shall be paid based on the business performance of SLTY, the Shangri-La Group and individual performance of the Employee.

    Merit Salary Increment Salary shall be reviewed once a year based on the achievement of each Employee according the Companys discretion.
