    Description

    Sales and Marketing Manager for Rigid Plastic Bottles and Containers

    As a Sales and Marketing Manager for our rigid plastic bottles and container division, you will apply your understanding of our value proposition to identify, quantify, and open doors with new customers to achieve profitable sales growth as well as strengthen relationships with existing customers.

    You are responsible for delivering assigned market segment insights that would benefit from our solutions and services, establishing relationships with customer decision makers to be shared with our sales team, and closing deals for profitability and growth.

    We are hiring a candidate who has managed both a sales team and sales volume exceeding 100 million and wants to be part of a growing and winning culture.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Develop Plans and Strategies: Grow packaging sales in the custom beverage, personal care, and consumer packaging markets.
    • Manage Sales Force: Develop and manage the sales force necessary to achieve growth targets. Current sales team consists of 5 regional sales account managers.
    • Recommend Price Quotations: Analyze data and make informed judgments to recommend price quotations.
    • Produce Sales Budgets/Forecasts: Monitor results and produce sales budgets/forecasts.
    • Coordinate Efforts: Coordinate efforts with product line management, product development, and manufacturing.
    • Develop Key Account Relationships: Develop in-depth relationships with key accounts.
    • Seek Competitive Intelligence: Continuously seek and utilize competitive intelligence.

    Position Requirements:

    • Building and Maintaining Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Leading Sales Staff: Plan, organize, and lead a sales staff in a manner that results exceed expectations.
    • Forecasting Sales Volume: Forecast sales volume.
    • Administration of Pricing and Quality Issues: Administer pricing and quality issues.

    Preferred Experience: Experience in rigid packaging, blow molding, injection molding, or flexible packaging in custom packaging is highly desirable.
