    Description

    We are currently working with an innovative developer based out of Austin that is looking to hire a strong development architect. Our client is currently developing multifamily and build-to-rent

    projects and have decided to take design and construction documentation inhouse

    for select projects. If you an architect that is looking to be a part of the full development processes, than this is the perfect role for you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Full architectural design and documentation of multiple multifamily projects working under direction of licensed architect
    • Occasional test fit yields of prospective sites for future projects
    • Occasionally assist with project management on other projects being done by other architects
    • Collaborate with VP to create foundational templates, detail library, and specifications and
    • Collaborate with development team on project goals, design, cost, and schedule
    • Review and analyze zoning requirements and project entitlements
    • Procure consultant contracts and contractor bids and
    • Formulate and review project budgets, schedules, and process invoices and weekly reports to development team
    • Coordinate and manage required project consultants workflow, quality, and schedules
    • Review and analyze construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet permit, regulatory, and quality standards
    • Conduct regular on-site inspections of construction sites to ensure that works being done according to plans and specifications
    • Identify and resolve quality issues and communicate them to the construction team

    Education and Experience:

    • Degree in architecture from an accredited university
    • 5 years project management experience required
    • Required proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
    • Prefer proficiency in generating renderings from Revit models
    • Familiar with current building codes and regulation requirements
    • Comfortable and adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders: Designers, engineers, construction managers, contractors, etc.
    • Experience in detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervision
