- Work with the Director of Elementary to support principals and teachers in ensuring Title I initiatives are implemented with fidelity.
- Model instruction while mentoring and coaching Title I teachers.
- Collaborate with Instructional Coaches on data and the alignment between core and intervention.
- Review and summarize data to make recommendations about adjustments that should be made.
- Work with the Director of Secondary to ensure effective student transition to middle school by supporting Principals and Reading Specialists in implementing interventions with fidelity and coaching general education teachers on best practices.
- Collaborate with the Federal Grant Coordinator to ensure all grant requirements are fulfilled.
- Develop and implement division-wide parent engagements activities.
- Performs related tasks as required.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience (K-5) with valid VA teaching license
Coaching Experience:
Graduate course work in reading/coaching/leadership
Previous experience as a building teacher leader
