    Opsource has partnered with a growing company in Greenville, SC who is looking for an experienced HVLP Spray Painter to join their team on 1st and 2nd Shift. Ample overtime opportunities available.
    SHIFT:
    May Train on 1st Shift
    1st: 6:00am-4:30PM Monday-Friday

    2nd: 4:00PM – 1:30AM Monday – Friday
    JOB TITLE: Production Painter with HVLP experience.
    Experience in Autobody Painting preferred.

    PAY RATE: Pay Range: /hr.
    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Painter is responsible for applying paint to signage parts/materials with polyurethane and/or epoxy single stage paints using HVLP sprayers to meet work order specifications.
    EDUCATION:
    • Required training in vocational school, related on-the-job experience, or GED.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • At least 1 to 3 years of experience working in HVLP spray painting with either polyurethane and/or epoxy single stage paints preferred. Previous Auto/Body experience is a plus.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Follow work order instructions, including engineering drawings and blueprints.
    • Measure and mix various of paint components to balance and acquire the corresponding shade required.
    • Prepare surfaces, parts and materials by cleaning, sanding, and doing light body work.
    • Spray paint parts and materials with polyurethane and/or epoxy single stage paints using HVLP sprayers.
    • Use wet/dry film thickness gauges to measure the thickness of coatings.
    • Paint intricate surfaces and small/ large parts, sometimes using a ladder or walk board.
    • Ensure painted products do not have any runs, sags, debris, or other defects while applying coats in uniform mil thickness.
    • Adjust, clean, inspect and repair a HVLP gun to keep in optimum performance.
    • Inspect product before, during and after paint process to ensure specifications and quality are being met.
    • Keep the manufacturing area and paint booths clean and clear.
