    Description

    Hire Up is searching for a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician for a well-established company located in the Katy, TX area.

    $26-$34/hr. DOE

    Responsibilities:

    • Repairing and overhauling equipment, such as ice machines, frozen beverage dispenser, reach-in refrigeration, walk-in coolers and freezers, in a safe, efficient and timely manner that exceeds customer's expectations.
    • Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance for customer base.
    • Provide department support by properly processing work orders.
    • Drive company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
    • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
    • Demonstrate a personal desire to want to do a good job and advance within career field.

    Service Technician MUST:

    • EPA Certified.
    • Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, ice machines, and frozen beverage dispensers.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system problems.
    • Exceptional mechanical skills.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
    • Clean driving record and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma/GED.
    • Clean driving record with a valid license.
    • 5-7 years experience in a Refrigeration Service Tech role
