    Job Purpose

    Manages multiple diverse customers manpower resource planning. Position ensures proper staffing for perm and contingent resources through complex forecasting, effective planning, communication, customer specific knowledge and strong relationships with division, plant and department leadership for direct and indirect resource planning. Generates manpower stat and cost budgets in SAP and analyzes labor stat and cost data (wage & overtime) with detailed gap analysis for the departments of responsibility to be shared at budget events as well as monthly scorecards for customers. Responsible for the most complex departments such as Assembly and provides reports, presentations, forecasts and summaries to the division and department leadership. Creates, and presents complex trend/gap analysis on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis for manpower and presents it to the plant level leadership. Data analysis includes attrition, unavailability, hiring and budget plan vs. actual as well as future projections of resources based on detailed analysis and assumptions for the future. Submits the final orders for the plant by department to Talent Management with prioritization by department and shift to ensure appropriate resource management by labor type. Provides training and transfers knowledge to Staff level manpower controllers to grow their knowledge and capabilities for the future. The Coordinator leads and participates in Local and Regional business plan projects and activities to make improvements for our customers, our department and division.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Thorough understanding and accurate reporting of complex manpower trend specific information and future forecasting to customers both local and regional to ensure appropriate awareness of resource information and trends to support successful daily production and stable DPC.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, local and regional including plant and division leadership to ensure understanding of current, and projected future resource conditions.
    • Proactively identify, evaluate, and escalate potential complex issues that could negatively impact the customers ability to produce vehicles and propose effective countermeasures as appropriate through data analysis and critical thinking including manpower stat and cost impact
    • Accurately and efficiently input into SAP department budget information for labor and overtime and generate cost comparisons so that customers (dept & plant) can understand the impact and reasons behind the changes to approve and/or adjust as appropriate.
    • Lead and participate in department and division level projects, requests, and activities as appropriate as well as lead business plan projects and activities at both local and regional levels.
    • Identification of improvement opportunities for increased efficiency, customer service and accuracy
    • Manpower management system entry to ensure accurate reporting

    Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting plus 2 years experience, or 6 years equivalent related experience
    • 2-6 years applicable experience based on education
    • Skilled in data analysis
    • Knowledge of relevant policies and/or laws relating to position
    • Skilled in ability to train and transfer knowledge to others
    • Ability to lead and present division level projects and activities
    • Ability to appropriately manage confidential information
    • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks with limited direction
    • Ability to collect and analyze data to assist in problem solving
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in a team-based environment
    • Ability to lead division and department level projects
