- Proficiency with AutoCAD required 2+ years.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam or similar.
- Knowledge of Revit is recommended.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills.

- Efficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- At least two years of AutoCAD experience is required.
- Experience with construction, manufacturing and/or aluminum extrusions preferred.
- Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create full-scale and detailed designs from an architect's rough drawings.
- Analyze building codes and regulations to determine how they will affect architectural designs.
- Draws and details plans based on instructions provided by engineers and architects.
- Occasionally visit job sites to gather data and measurements needed to complete designs.
- Determines the types of materials needed for the project and calculates the quantity to be ordered.
- Assures work completed is accurate and within project deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned
