Job Responsibilities:

· Build strong relationships and help all those you touch along life's journey.

· Create a nurturing and positive learning environment encouraging children and staff to grow and develop.

· Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and implement the Lightbridge Academy program and Seedlings curriculum.

· Create a "learning is fun' environment by developing and implementing lesson plans following Lightbridge Academy curriculum.

· Maintain a well-kept classroom that helps ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children.

· Observe all Lightbridge Academy policies and procedures and state licensing regulations.

· Attend required staff meetings and trainings.

· Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in education or related field is preferred, Associates Degree in education or related field will be considered

· Childcare or preschool experience

· Strong time management, leadership and organizational skills

· Flexible and able to multi-task

· Prior management experience (a plus)

· Completion of CPR and First Aid certification
