The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Manage the care of pregnant woman at SGPC incorporating basic philosophical tenets of midwife-led care.
These include facilitation of natural processes, family-centered care, continuity of care, and the woman's right to participate knowledgeably in her own childbearing experience.

Prospective Chart Review:
Presents high-risk cases to the Perinatal physician as needed for review as needed for management of care
Retrospective Chart Review:
Contributes to review of charts utilizing standard and individual chart as directed by Coordinator.
Reviews as requested by coordinator, selected cases of LBW (
Provide primary care in the outpatient setting to include ante partum, post partum and family planning care as needed to facilitate care of clients in an expeditious manner according to Guidelines.
Review all labs and ensure appropriate follow - up.Assumes responsibility for implementation and direction on referrals / consultation.
Supervise / precept allied health professionals in the clinic setting.
Participates in continuing education /continuing competency programs.
Participates in professional organization(s).Provide community education services as necessary.
Participates in community organization as representative of hospital
