- Each ambassador will plan and hold 2 events or projects per school year promoting health equity
- Maximum of 10 hour per week obligation
- Complete orientation from North Dakota Health Equity Committee
- Communicate with campus supervisor regularly (monthly meetings) and as needed
- Provide reports to North Dakota Health Equity Committee through the North Dakota Health and Human Services department - (Essential)
- Undergraduate or graduate student in a health sciences major
- Good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA
- Junior or Senior student status
- Prior working knowledge and experience with health equity
- Creative programming expertise
- Previous experience with program planning, budgeting, and managing events
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Health Equity Ambassadors hold a grant funded position through the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services to promote public health knowledge of health equity on the UND campus and within the state of North Dakota.
Duties & Responsibilities
