9/80 Day Shift


Experience:

Mechanical Technical: 3 years (Required)

Aerospace: 2 years (Required)


Must have Mechanical technical experience not Electrical.

Five or more years of direct industry-related experience in both assembly/testing in a high-technology manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Aerospace products desired.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, model-based definition drawings/3D viewers, work orders, and specifications.

Performs complex assembly utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Sets up using shop aides, drill fixtures, and assembly fixtures.

Perform machining operations such as drilling and reaming of close tolerance holes, pressing of bushings, tapping of holes, transfer drilling, and lathe and Bridgeport utilization.

Job Requirements:

Perform semi complex mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.

Possesses excellent mechanical reasoning. Mechanical background required.

Able to perform close tolerance measurements using ruler, tape measure, protractor, vernier calipers, digital gauge, and micrometer.

Understand and determines sequence of operations from basic assembly to complicated multilevel sub-assembly and final assembly. A high level of assembly quality is required.

Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.

Able to work in a team environment and collaborate with peers, supervisors, engineers, and higher level management.

May be required to lift 50 lbs.
