- Must have skills:4+ years of experience managing a large Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP) environment or equivalent
- Knowledge of email security hygiene protocols - SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Hands-on experience handling email security issues, including troubleshooting and tuning O365 email-related security policies
- Experience implementing DMARC policies
- Knowledge of authentication methods, Active Directory, configuration and management of Microsoft Exchange security policies
- Deep understanding of email header analysis, email protocols and security best practices
- Manage Microsoft O365 Exchange Online Protection (EOP) security products and mailflow rules
- Manage Microsoft Security and Compliance Center
- Manage Microsoft Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
- Manage Microsoft O365 security-related mailflow rules
- Perform security event investigation using O365 and Azure log analysis
- Assist other groups by providing email security log and troubleshooting information
- Regularly review and recommend changes to policies or controls as needed to enhance security

Description
Client: Top utility company in Houston area
Position: Email/O365 Security Analyst
Location/onsite: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Duration: 3 month contract
Work Hours: flexibility 8 "in office" hours (7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm)
**Not looking for passive knowledge of O365, not just permission access, etc. Looking for an understanding of how email works in the background (what happens behind the scenes) , understand email routing, etc.
Responsibilities:
