    The Manager of the SLPG Float Team leads and manages the daily operations of the SLPG Float Team and is responsible for inter-practice communication, decision making, and allocation of SLPG Float Team resources to Primary Care and Specialty practices.

    Performs all leadership and managerial functions across the employee life cycle for direct reports including hiring, onboarding/orientation, performance management (in collaboration with Sr./Practice Operations Managers), ongoing coaching, development, engagement, recognition, etc.

    Develops and maintains processes and policies pertaining to the management, distribution, and oversight of SLPG Float Team resources.
    Manages daily operations in a systematic manner to assure operational effectiveness, timely allocation of resources, and quality service.
    developing employee schedules, facilitating daily huddles, updating time management systems, maintaining Point of Care licensing, etc.).

    Institutes process to acquire total performance feedback (spanning competency, skills, and behaviors) to enable Float Team coaching and performance management.

    Collaborates with Primary Care and Specialty departments regarding staffing needs/plans, staff/Practice onboarding/offboard, and Float Pool team member performance.
    Bachelor's Degree in health care, business administration, or supply chain management required.


    EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
    Experience in logistics and/or resource management preferred. Experience managing others preferred.
