    Description

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Drive and operate forklift - must be experienced on a High Reach extend forklift for this position.

    + Read production schedule and store shipping orders or requisitions to determine product to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

    + Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.

    + Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand which vary in weight up to 50 pounds per case.

    + Reports shipping problems or concerns to Supervisor of Lead Person immediately.

    + Open cases, boxes, and containers of product from designated storage location in distribution center.

    + Pick and conveys product accurately from storage locations to conveyor or another specified area in distribution center.

    + Participate in cycle count by physically scanning product in line to ensure accurate counts for all store orders.

    + Account for any damages occurred during shift and cleaning any spills or breakages associated with the damaged merchandise or product.

    + Set up and clean to prepare for next workday, including folding new boxes and sweeping/picking up of assigned work areas.

    + Any other shipping and receiving requirements and standards that may apply.

    + Speaking-convey information effectively.

    + Critical Thinking- using logic and reasoning to identify strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

    + Judgement and Decision Making- consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

    + Written Expression - the ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.

    Qualifications:

    + Follows and complies with all universal job qualifications.

    + Ability to adapt to change.

    + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    + Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Physical Demands:

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

    + The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    + Employee must be capable of standing for more than 8+ hours a day.

    **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
