Soliant Education is seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team near Glenview, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning needs in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring alignment with state standards and student goals.
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including academic, social, and behavioral interventions.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments that promote student success and growth.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each student.
Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Illinois state Special Education teaching license.
Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.

Caseload: 5-7 students
Hours - 8:20-3:50, M-F
