    Opening Full-time opportunity working for Chaplaincy Services-SMH offering 40 hours per week Responsibilities GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Neuropalliative Care Chaplain is accountable for providing spiritual care and counseling in the outpatient clinic environment to patients, their families, and staff. The focus is on meeting the religious and spiritual needs of individuals, fostering communication to address conflicts, and ensuring quality care. This role reports to the Director of Chaplaincy Services with oversight from the division chief of Neuropalliative Care. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide spiritual support in the Neuropalliative Care Outpatient Clinic - Document spiritual assessments and interventions in patient records - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for patient and family support - Attend relevant meetings and contribute to research and educational activities Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - MDiv from an accredited seminary or equivalent education - Completion of at least four units of ACPE/Clinical Pastoral Education - Comfortable with technology and team collaboration - Board Certification as a chaplain with APC, NACC, or NAJC within 2 years The University of Rochester values equity, diversity, and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
