Description

We are searching for the right Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

When conducting Disability Assessments, you will electronically review medical records via a web portal and conduct a focused, face-to-face physical examination on each Veteran.

You will electronically record the examination findings required by the VA through the web portal.

The Nurse Practitioner DOES NOT determine disabilities; all disability determinations are made by the United States Veterans Administration.

This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT provide treatment or prescribe medications in this role.

This role involves evaluating 3-5 Veterans per day on average.

Schedule: Full-Time: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)

This is an IN-PERSON role.

Key Attributes:

• Passionate about executing Independent Medical Assessments.
• Capable of analyzing data from medical records and examination findings to complete the required questionnaire and form medical opinions.
• Strong in time management, capable of staying focused and meeting deadlines.
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• Proficient in computer usage.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
