Provides nursing expertise and assistance in improving the efficiency and quality of services offered at Providence Imaging Center. The primary focus of the nurse is with PIC's breast imaging services. The nurse works with patients, referring clinicians, medical specialists, radiologists, PIC staff and Cancer center staff to help meet the needs of patients from screening mammography through diagnosis. The nurse also assists with other PIC departments and projects.

Position is Full Time, 0.9 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, Alaska

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Graduate of an accredited University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Recent experience in a clinical or educational setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A strong emphasis on patient education and marketing skills.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
