- Collaborate with team members from diverse domains: product, data, and science
- Lead efforts to deploy machine learning models into production, designing robust and scalable systems for inference, monitoring and maintenance
- Build large scale data pipelines for data processing and feature generation to ensure consistent data and features are used across model training, online and batch deployments
- Build generalized real-time and stream-processing infrastructure for machine learning applications
- Provide leadership that helps navigate the team through complicated technical challenges
- Support the growth and development of individuals and the team through interviewing, onboarding, and mentorship
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $165, $264,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. - Advanced degree (M.S or Ph.D) or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related fields
- Hands on experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments
- Experience working with large scale datasets and building ETL pipelines using Spark, Kubeflow
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing fundamentals
- Experience with Machine Learning tools and Frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Transformers, XGBoost, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, architecture, and operations
- Comfortable in a small team/fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience with building applications using Generative AI or Large Language Models and related technologies
