Position SummaryThe Internship Coordinator provides essential support in the business operations of the Humanities in Action: Maverick Internship Program, a cross-college initiative designed to expand access to paid, credit-bearing internship opportunities for humanities students.
Reporting to the Principal Investigator/Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Internship Coordinator works closely with faculty, internal partners, and community organizations to develop internship placements, support students and faculty, coordinate programming and events, and assess program effectiveness.
This position plays a critical role in embedding humanities internships into the university's academic and community engagement infrastructure.Duties
Collect and maintain internship participation data and provide reports for stakeholders. Conduct thorough assessments of employment experience. Develop reports including recommendations for future improvements based on assessment results.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of professional experience working in a higher education setting (student support services, human resources, or student affairs functions) or another type of nonprofit organization
