    Job Description:

    Cloud Security Architect (Senior or Expert)

As a Lead Cloud Security Architect, you will be you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure and solutions, developing, and implementing security standards and best practices, and providing technical guidance to other security architects and engineers. This position will contribute as a key member of the Program Management Office for GDIT's Cloud One offering.

    HOW AN CLOUD SECURITY ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
    • Develop and implement security measures for cloud-based solutions that meet Government requirements to include maintaining documentation related to cloud security solutions.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other security architects and engineers.
    • Develop and implement security standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure and solutions in AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP cloud platforms hosted in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
    • Evaluate new cloud security technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions through relationships with CSPs and vendors.
    • Serve as a principal liaison for enterprise-level boundary defense initiatives to ensure consistent and sufficient identification and implementation of applicable cybersecurity controls in concert with the agency cybersecurity and cloud architecture and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security guidelines.
    • Understand the following standards: DISA STIG and NIST SP
    What You'll Need to Succeed:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud security, with at least 5 years of experience
    • CISP, CISA, CISSP Certified
    • Experience with public cloud providers (certificate preferred) such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
    • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions operating within the Government, including DoD Cloud Computing SRG v1 R 4 (or superseding versions or releases).
    • Experience with cloud security technologies such as identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Location: Hybrid, On Customer Site two days a week as needed by customer
    • Secret Clearance with the ability to be cleared to the TS/SCI level.
    • US Citizenship Required
    Job Qualifications:
    • IAM Certified (CISA, CISP, CISSP) required.
    • CompTIA SEC+ Certification required.
    • Experience with public cloud providers (certificate preferred) such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
