Join our team  in Aman New York.  East meets West and old meets new. Manhattan's iconic Crown Building is reimagined as Aman New York, where the city's original architectural splendour and Aman's harmonious design language collide, reimagining the inimitable tranquillity of Aman in the heart of Manhattan's midtown. With a year-round Garden Terrace, flagship Aman Spa and spacious suites all among the largest in the city.   

Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our property Aman New York. In this role, the Hotel Manager will serve as an ambassador of the warm, personalised service and intuitive hospitality that defines Aman. They will lead by example as a custodian of the brand, ensuring that our values are consistently practiced and embodied by the team.

Reporting to the Managing Director Americas, they will drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction and team performance, while upholding Aman's dedication to providing a level of service and experience that is peerless in every way.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and commercial awareness, as well as a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations within New York.

This position has an annual compensation range of $230,000 to $275,000.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments except Food & Beverage and Spa to ensure personalized guest experiences where every detail matters.

  • Be the key point of contact for guests, resolving any concerns and ensuring an exceptional level of satisfaction.

  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures in line with Aman standards and values.

  • Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to drive occupancy, ADR and profitability.

  • Lead, coach and develop department heads and teams to foster a culture of excellence and engagement.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality, safety and service consistency.

  • Nurture a culture of teamwork, ownership and refined service throughout the resort.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

  • Represent Aman New York with professionalism, discretion and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including at least 5 years in a senior operational role.

  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional languages is an asset; with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven background in Rooms operations.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and manage budgets effectively.

  • Demonstrated leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Hands-on management style with impeccable attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in hotel management systems such as Opera PMS or similar.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.

  • Right to work in the United States.
