Cash Linux Administrator:
Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems.
Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance of Linux systems, specifically RHEL, Ubuntu and RHEL clones.
This position will partner with the developers of our point of sale system.
This position will partner with the Windows Team and cross train duties.
Basic understanding of NIM
Basic understanding of AIX
Knowledgeable on IBM Hardware knowledge of Power 8's Power 9's Power 10's
Able to work on Hypervisors (Hyper-V and VMware) some build out may be necessary
Manage and maintain Red Hat Satellite Server 6 or any other centralized management tool
Manage and maintain Ansible
Support Docker and Podman
Support Nginx and Apache servers
Support the development and deployment of new applications as needed in designated Enterprise Linux.
Install new / upgrade existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Perform Senior systems security administration functions, including creating customer profiles and accounts
Manage and maintain Red Hat Identity Management
Monitor and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency
Write or modify basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate systems administration tasks
Maintain system documentation and logs
Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems; corrects identified problems
Maintain Linux & application security, event investigations and compliance enforcement.
Review personnel conduct in relation to data protection
Provide monitoring and primary response and intervention for information technology related security incidents and violations
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Follows specific, detailed instructions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 2 years of related professional experience.
Experience in developing and implementing large scale, complex, highly available Infrastructure architecture that supports critical business applications.
7+ years' experience with administration of Unix/Linux Environments
7 years' experience with monitoring tools, SolarWinds a plus
7 years' experience working with SAN storage.
A thorough understanding of and experience with computer-based systems and associated networking architectures.
Our ideal candidate will have:
experience working with large complex projects; experience with Red Hat and/or other Unix systems, Storage Area Networks (SAN), SNMP monitoring configuration, security compliance, 2+ years' experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and experience with RHEL in a virtualized environment.
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to think and work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be willing to work irregular shifts when need arises and provide on call coverage in a 24/7 environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
