    Description


    We are currently seeking a Software Build Engineer with experience configuring and maintaining enterprise build systems targeting Windows and Linux system environments.

    The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience as well as - 4 years of experience with build configurations and Agile methodologies.

    We would also like to see experience with:

    Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) administration

    JetBrains TeamCity CI/CD platform or equivalent solution configuration and administration

    Source Code Management (SCM) systems such as PlasticSCM, SVN, or Git

    scripting in languages such PowerShell, Bash, or Python

    Automation and Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack

    application, network, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis

    Canonical Ubuntu and/or Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux

    Test automation and mobile publishing experience is a plus along with experience with unit, integration, and functional testing tools including Selenium and Junit, Docker

    CompTIA Security+ Certification desirable


    We currently operate in a hybrid work from home environment, however, due to the nature of this position, the majority of work will be done in our office.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop, maintain, and improve automated CI/CD systems, pipelines, and processes.

    Work with engineering teams to identify manual processes that can be automated.

    Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting applications operations, including build configurations, automation systems, and release pipelines.

    Monitor and analyze metrics to improve system performance.

    Recommend infrastructure enhancements to optimize and stabilize automation systems.

    Create and maintain documentation on processes and tools.


    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.

    Frequently communicates with stakeholders and management.

    Travel is required.
