Our Birth Suite Unit

This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified Registered Midwife to be part of the progressive team in the Maternity Unit at AWH. Located in Wodonga, AWH's Maternity Unit is one of the largest in regional Victoria facilitating up to 1700 births annually.

We are seeking highly motivated Midwife who have a desire to work in our Birth Suite Unit.

About you:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for carrying out and attending to the responsibilities and duties outlined in the position description for the Registered Midwife, this would suit a Registered Midwife demonstrating experience and sound clinical skill with at least 2 years acute experience in a Maternity setting, have critical thinking and problem solving skills, are compassionate, approachable and are able to build a rapport with patients and staff and who is committed to providing the highest quality patient centered care.
