    **Join Our Team as a Radiology Tech - CT Specialist**

    **Job Description:**

    - Full-Time Position: 40 hours/week
    - Day Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Monday – Friday

    **Exciting Responsibilities:**

    - Utilize automatic exposure control effectively to ensure optimal imaging.
    - Master technical factors such as kVp, mA, time, and distance for accurate results.
    - Employ precise positioning techniques to image and identify appropriate body parts.
    - Conduct Computed Tomography Exams with and without contrast injections.
    - Safely transport, transfer, and position patients for imaging.
    - Maintain accurate patient and image documentation in HIS/RIS and PACS systems.
    - Provide exceptional patient care by monitoring needs and addressing concerns.
    - Act as a mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs.
    - Stay current with professional growth through workshops and seminars.
    - Ensure compliance with safety practices and organizational policies.

    **Qualifications:**

    - Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
    - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(R) (CT) required).
    - Completion of CT modality orientation specific to the organization.
    - Minimum of two years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
    - Basic Life Support (HCP) certification to be completed within three months of hire.

    **Physical Requirements:**

    - Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
    - Frequent and prolonged standing/walking.
    - Lifts, positions, and moves patients and heavy equipment.
    - Manual dexterity and mobility are essential.
    - Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

    **Competencies:**

    - Demonstrate equipment competency per department checklist.
    - Strong critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
    - Accountability in actions and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
    - Ability to care for patients of all ages with compassion and professionalism.
