Newmar located in Nappanee, IN is seeking a VP, Human Resources who will provide strategic and proactive HR partnership for leaders and teams related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations.

    We are seeking a driven, problem-solver to:
    • Propose and implement HR programs that support business objectives and enhance culture and engagement through delivering a positive employee experience.
    • Partner with leaders to support and enhance strategies for attracting and retaining talent to ensure the organization is positioned to achieve production goals and growth objectives.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and development to leadership team and front-line leaders to increase capability around leading and managing people.
    • Design, plan and implement organization changes in partnership with leaders.
    • Facilitate talent management initiatives related to talent assessment, development and succession planning, performance management, and compensation.
    • Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment, safety, and environmental requirements.
    • Become a brand ambassador through strategic partnerships and associations within the local community.
    Education/Experience:
    • Self-aware, initiative-taking, humble leader who puts "people first," and has a servant leadership mindset.
    • Ability to think critically, recognize connections, and translate goals into action.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience across all aspects of HR, including experience leading a team.
    • Experience providing HR partnership in a large production/manufacturing environment is a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes or best practices in HR.
