    About the Team


    Gorgias finance team is looking to hire a passionate Analyst/Associate to join the Strategic Finance team to provide in-depth, insightful analyses to help make strategic investment decisions.

    The Analyst will be focused on building deep partnership across all business units by focusing on our KPIs and providing critical analysis and insights to help drive related business decisions.

    You will be responsible for developing methodologies, dashboards, and models to enhance and maintain our reporting and quarterly budgeting.

    To be successful in this role you must be data driven, have strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    You will drive long-term value by taking extreme ownership to diagnose problems, analyze solutions and drive implementation to create impact.

    This role will report directly to the Head of Strategic Finance.
    What You'll Do

    Support management to build and maintain growth models and forecasts supporting revenue / spend optimization and ad-hoc analysis.

    You will function as a hands-on, strategic partner to the business leaders while working directly with the Head of Strategic Finance on key metrics and business recommendations

    Collaborate on all financial models to identify key investment opportunities and partner with business leaders to operationalize their budgets

    Assist in planning exercises and the quarterly and annual budgeting cycles for all verticals

    Assess key metrics across the business to craft a strategy that aligns the financial model to OKRs

    Work closely with our data analytics team to source and structure data, ensuring we have reliable and accurate forecasts and KPIs

    Maintain scalable financial reports and models to validate and communicate quarterly business reviews, KPIs, and monthly forecasting cycles

    Collaborate with the Accounting team on a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to

    Who You Are

    2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or high-growth technology/SAAS company in strategic finance or FP&A

    BA/BS required, preferably in Finance/Accounting or equivalent directly related work experience required

    Expert Excel Skills; extensive experience building P&L, LTV, and CAC Modeling and analyzing large data sets, additionally, strong understanding of US GAAP

    Maintain efficient processes for quarterly and monthly budgeting, forecasting & performance reporting

    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take extreme ownership

    Someone with a hands-on attitude and a strong desire to deliver and grow

    Basic SQL knowledge or a willingness to learn basic SQL

    Someone with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
