    Description
    Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

    Description

    To optimize molding processes for products and provide training to technical teams to achieve consistent results.

    Main Responsibilities

    - Ensure compliance with AQP and PPAP requirements following AIAG Standards.
    - Troubleshoot using QPR format.
    - Manage all processes and mold-related aspects.
    - Keep track of mold location, cost, PM, and quotes.
    - Train technicians in mold set-up and molding processing.
    - Create and update mold documentation.
    - Test new materials and molds.
    - Optimize molding processes.
    - Identify training needs for maintenance technicians.
    - Conduct mold repairs and address root causes of failure modes.
    - Possess basic knowledge of TS16949 and Quality Policy.
    - Adhere to safety regulations and report any issues.
    - Maintain plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
    - Supervise and guide personnel as necessary.
    - Organize and update all set-up information, including process set up sheets and logs.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Standing - occasionally required on concrete floor for equipment repairs.
    • Walking - sometimes necessary for maintenance tasks.
    • Lifting - occasional lifting from floor to waist level.
    • Reaching - occasionally extending arms and hands in front and below the waist.
    • Turning/twisting - occasionally needed for job functions.
    • Bending/stooping - occasional requirement.

    Skills and Qualifications

    - Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    - Equivalent knowledge and skills to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
