    SUMMARY
    The function of the Plant Technician I is to safely support the operations of the plant through
    miscellaneous duties. A person in this role performs numerous tasks including operation of
    various mobile equipment, operation of the crushing and classifying plants, the weighing of
    trucks, maintenance of equipment, shift inspections, housekeeping and dust control activities,
    general manual labor tasks including lifting, digging and moving materials as well as other
    duties as assigned.

    Working Conditions: outdoors within the plant environment


    Physical Requirements: ability to perform physical labor and lift objects up to 50 lbs., standing or sitting
    for extended periods, extended or irregular hours of work, climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping. Work in
    weather temperature extremes. Work in inclement weather. Work at heights and tight spaces. Must be
    able to wear and work efficiently in the proper PPE for the conditions within the plant operation.
