Bangor, ME Full-time $130, $200,000.00Posted 05/01/2024Financial ControllerThe Financial Controller will be a key contributor in providing focus and direction in the financial management of the company.
This individual will be responsible for creating and executing the financial strategy of the company, overseeing the overall financial operations, and for driving the development of financial plans.
This person will work closely with the executive team to ensure the company is in compliance with all financial regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial strategy of the company and ensure that financial plans are in line with the companys goals and objectives.
Develop financial reports and analyses to aid the executive team in making decisions.
Develop and implement ERP systems and procedures.
Lead periodic financial reviews to ensure the company is meeting its financial targets.
Manage the accounting department and ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping.
Lead the budgeting process and ensure that all expenses are kept in line with the budget.
Perform regular financial audits and ensure the accuracy of the companys financial records.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated proficiency in GAAP accounting.
Strong leadership skills.
Previous experience in a Vice President of Finance role.
Proficiency in financial software such as Quantum.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
