- Performs high-quality ultrasound procedures using diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Documents calibration procedures for imaging equipment.
- Coordinates emergent cases, maintains efficiency, and assists in invasive biopsy procedures.
- Ensures accurate billing for procedures and maintains the readiness of the Ultrasound room and equipment.
- Performs assigned patient care responsibilities considering specific patient needs.
- Adheres to the CORE values of the organization.
- Performs other assigned duties.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
- Minimum 1-year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound preferred.
- ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.

Description
About the Job:
This position involves applying medical ultrasound to patients following doctors' orders. The technologist will handle the movement, set-up, and operation of medical ultrasound equipment while ensuring patient needs are met. Working under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the technologist provides patient assessment information to the Radiologist and maintains accurate procedural documentation in the patient's medical record.
