Location: Off the Coast of Santa Barbara, CA

Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off rotation

Compensation: Salary based on experience + paid travel

Position Summary:

The Offshore Paramedic will provide advanced life support medical care and respond to health, safety and environmental incidents on an offshore oil rig located off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA. Candidates must have prior offshore medic experience and the necessary certifications to work autonomously in this remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical treatment to rig personnel as a solo provider
• Coordinate medical evacuations (medevacs) as needed
• Conduct medical audits and maintain medical equipment/supplies
• Respond to safety and environmental incidents on the rig
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to workers
• Maintain detailed medical records and reports

Requirements:

• Certified EMT-Paramedic with current National Registry and/or State licensure
• ACLS and BLS certified
• Minimum 2 years offshore medic & HSE tech experience
• HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training) certified
• Swing rope transfer certification
• Strong decision making skills to work autonomously
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
