    Description

    Commercial Lines Account Manager

    A Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a crucial role in the production, support and retention of commercial lines accounts. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, key responsibilities include:

    • Secure and submit required renewal underwriting information
    • Reneew coverage, remarket/rewrite existing accounts
    • Quote and propose expansion or new business
    • Make customer requested changes or cancellations and process related change requests and confirmations
    • Process Certificates of Insurance
    • Receive claims information and report claims to companies
    • Make claims follow up with customers
    • Advise Clients of coverage and options, solicit increases in coverage, resolve issues on behalf of the Client/and or Carrier
    • Properly document all account activity and client/company communication

    Anderson Insurance Associates is an employee-owned organization with over 40 years of service to South Carolina residents.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at an independent agency with underwriting and rating background; previous Property & Casualty experience required
    • Ability to communicate complex issues orally and in writing, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately
    • Self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
    • Client-focused team mentality
    • Proficient in MS Office tools and insurance management systems
    • Working knowledge of Applied Epic or similar insurance account management software preferred

    Education/Licensing:

    • High School diploma required; Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree preferred; additional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.) preferred
    • Active Property & Casualty insurance license

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
