    Janitor Position at POAH Communities

    Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment? POAH Communities is currently looking for a Janitor to join our team at Colony Plaza Apartments in Excelsior Springs, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the property remains neat and well-maintained, with some light maintenance tasks included.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond promptly to housekeeping and basic repair requests, resolving issues within 24 hours
    • Transport equipment and supplies as needed
    • Assist in turning around vacant units efficiently
    • Keep work areas clean and organized
    • Manage trash and oversee landscaping
    • Be prepared for and respond to various weather conditions
    • Maintain the maintenance shop in a tidy condition

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
    • Capable of working in all weather conditions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
    • Keenness to learn and grow professionally
